Frenchtown Bastille Celebration 2000 |
Saturday, July 15th & Sunday July 16th

Festivities begin on Saturday the 15th with "Run Like Wild" 5K, Fun Walk and Children's races for the benefit of Woodlands Wildlife Refuge at 8:30 a.m. beginning at the Frenchtown School.
The run is sponsored by The Hill Runners of Hunterdon Running Club. For more information on the run: http://www.woodlandswildlife.org.At dusk on Saturday evening, the classic movie "GIGI" will be shown outdoors on the front lawn of the Apgar House on Bridge Street

Bring a lawn chair and relax under the stars.Throughout the weekend, merchants will feature sales and special events.
Street vendors will be in town to further add to the excitement.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once again, the weekend culminates with a spectacular presentation of
Fireworks at Old Frenchtown Field
on Harrison Street Sunday evening.
The fireworks are presented by Garden Sate Fireworks who last year presented one of the best shows in the Delaware Valley Area. This year's plans are even better.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The field will be open at 6PM for picnicking. Vendors will have wares and food available.
Live entertainment by the popular local group "519 South"
featuring Blues, Contemporary and Top 40 Mix.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
