TINICUM  ARTS FESTIVAL

at The Book Garden's booth.

Along with its customary array of painters and crafts people, the 2004 Tinicum Arts Festival in Bucks County will once again have an Authors’ Table, this year featuring eleven Bucks and Hunterdon County writers and illustrators who have helped make the Bucks and Huntedon County Area the creative center that it is.


Each author will be available for a two-hour book signing.
The Book Garden from Frenchtown will have the author’s books available for purchase at the booth.

 

On Saturday, July 10 meet:
11 am  - 1 pm
Richard Egielski, Holland Township NJ; distinguished children's author and illustrator, recipient of the 1987 Caldecott Medal for the illustrations in Hey, Al.

Christian Bauman Langhorne, Pa; regular contributor to NPR's All Things Considered  and author of the novel, The Ice Beneath You.
1 pm   -  3 pm
Steven Kroll, Upper Black Eddy, Pa and NYC;  author of 85 books for children, among them That makes me mad!  And the just published  A Tale of Two Dogs.

David Lubar, Nazareth, Pa; author of more than a dozen books for young readers, including the KSRA Young Adult Book Award-winning novel,  Dunk.
3 pm  -  5 pm
Peg GeorgeDoylestown, Pa; former Central Bucks School Director and Pennsylvania State Representative, and author of the novel, Never Use Your Dim Lights - Not Even in the Fog.

Damian McNicholl, Pipersville, Pa; author of the novel,  A Son Called Gabriel.
On Sunday, July 11 meet:
11 am  -  1 pm
Denise BrunkusPittstown, NJ; noted illustrator of the best-selling Junie B. Jones  children's book series.

Betty OrlemannPipersville, Pa; Delaware Valley News columnist, talk show host, and author of the Hattie Farwell mysteries.
1 pm  -  3 pm
Derek FellPipersville, Pa; author and photographer of numerous lavishly illustrated books on gardening and travel,  among them  Beautiful Bucks County, and  Cézanne's Gardens.

Teri LewisPipersville, Pa; owner of the miniature horse Maddie and author of the children's book,  Maddie's Marvelous Tail.
3 pm  -  5 pm
Kate WhiteKnitnersville, Pa and NYC; editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan magazine and celebrated author of three best-selling Bailey Weggins mysteries, the latest of which is 'Til  Death Do Us Part
